This nylon web riser assembly was once part of a G-12 cargo parachute. It is made of type XXI nylon webbing. The complete parachute required two riser assemblies, composed of four suspension risers, terminating in two riser attaching loops connected to a suspension clevis. Each of the 8 suspension risers was connected to 8 consecutively numbered suspension lines by a link assembly.

Type XXI nylon webbing has a 3,600 pounds tensile strength. It is 1 3/4" wide and 66" long.
